FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does non-alcoholic gin taste like traditional gin?

We have worked hard to create a drink that we think tastes like the real thing, with juniper, seville orange and black pepper, the depth of taste we believe gives you that experience and indulgence, letting you enjoy the drink with no nasty after effects.

  • Is non-alcoholic drink beneficial?

We believe our drinks give you the taste, delight and experience enjoyed in an alcoholic drink but with the huge benefits of keeping cognition, control, training regimes, health needs and a very low calorie intake. Our beers are around 37 calories which is about a quarter of normal beer and a tenth of cider. Our Botanical Spirit are only 4 calories a serving. All ingredients are natural and products are gluten free and vegan.

  • What makes your drinks Welsh?

All of our drinks are proudly produced in Wales, in south Wales as it happens, benefitting the local circular economy. The Welsh language - my first language - is also proudly used on all of our products, correspondance and social media. Normalising our first language, a beautiful, modern European language on quality products seems normal to us.  No one would question french on a bottle of wine...Iechyd da!

  • Does non-alcoholic beer help with weight management?

Weight managament should be discussed with qualified nutritionists of course, but our drinks are very low calorie and therefore help greatly with calorie intake and have no sweetners.

  • Can non-alcoholic drink be consumed during pregnancy

Having no alcohol, only natural ingredients and the added benefit of being gluten free - there is no reason not to consume them during pregnancy or nurturing babies.

  • Can non-alcoholic drink cause headaches?

Our ethos is to create drinks with naturual ingredients, no nasties. The Botanical Spirit has natural preservatives, the beers are brewed in traditional methods with no additives, and all are gluten free, vegan and low calorie, therefore they should not cause headaches, no one has told us that they do.
